Jesus said, "Go into all the world and proclaim the good news to all creation." (Mark 16:15). At Grace Baptist Church, we seek to proclaim the good news to everyone we can. That's why evangelism is important to us.
Currently, our primary evangelism ministry is Evangelism Explosion (EE). The ministry is focused on training our people how to share the Gospel in an engaging and clear way, so that they are better equipped to witness to family and friends. Over the course of the Fall or Spring semester, we accomplish this training not only through a series of classes, but also through on-the-job training: actually going out into the community.
There are three levels of training:
- Level I: we teach you the EE outline of the Gospel. You will get the chance to present the Gospel with people who have recently moved into the area.
- Level II: you review the EE outline and become an assistant trainer, helping the senior trainer in teaching a level I trainee.
- Level III: covers a topic in apologetics (defending the faith), such as creation & evolution or responding to Islam.
