The purpose of this ministry is to bring glory to God through the gift of music and art. Our goal is to not focus on the music itself, but through music, we wish to remind ourselves and others of God's grace, majesty, beauty, and glory.
Ways to Get Involved
GBC Sanctuary Choir
Rehearsals are most Wednesdays 7:45 -9:00pm & Sundays 8:40am - 9:10am
The choir is made up of volunteers age sixteen and older (high school students must also be faithfully involved with the Friends Choir). The choir helps lead our corporate worship gatherings most Sundays through congregational singing as well as special anthems. In addition, the choir is featured in special seasonal worship services and programs throughout the year. There is no need for prior musical training to join the choir. All that is needed is an ear for music, a desire to sacrificially serve the congregation through music, and the commitment to attend weekly rehearsals and worship services.
Rehearsals are most Wednesdays 7:00 – 8:00pm & Sundays 8:45am - 9:15am
The GBC Orchestra is made up of volunteers who have training and experience in their respective instruments. The orchestra plays for most Sunday morning and special seasonal worship services accompanying congregational singing and choir anthems. The orchestra is also often featured in special instrumental works which contribute to the music of our worship services. The orchestra is always looking for more skilled volunteers to help lead in excellent music-making for our worship services.
Sundays 5:00 - 6:15pm in Sanctuary
Primary Choir (K - 2nd Grade) and Junior Choir(3rd - 6th Grade) will learn great songs, hymns of faith, and music reading skills. There will also be time for activities and a devotional.

The Handbell Choir is made up of people of all ages who have a desire to serve in the instrumental music ministry at Grace. The Handbell Choir is always looking for more people to serve in this ministry. It is helpful if you have some experience in reading music, but proficiency is not necessary. It is important that all members of the Handbell Choir are committed to regular attendance to rehearsals. If you'd like to join or if you have questions contact: Nancy Puckett at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Sunday morning rehearsals at 8:45am

Experience is not necessary, but is always beneficial. We have gifted members of this team who can help train new volunteers. We are always looking for more volunteers to help in this ministry – especially those who are musically and artistically inclined.
